It's the last day of January tomorrow. Crazy stuff. I've been able to stay on top of writing this month and in fact I'm actually ahead of my monthly goal and will probably end January about 2500 words on top. YAY!
Work is going... okay. It's definitely work but my schedule changed to mornings M-F so that definitely helps but getting up early is really kicking my butt.
Yeah, yeah!

Reservoir Cats
A couple things my friends.
First: My lovely wife is coming home today. Hurrah.
Second: Terry Pratchett is a genius. His books are incredible. Check out his work.
Third (Yeah I know. I said a couple): I'm watching Reservoir Dogs. Before that I watched Deathproof and Planet Terror. All excellent flicks. Say what you will about the man, Quentin Tarantino knows how to make a quality movie. Oooh and speaking of quality movies, I just saw Seven Psychopaths. That movie is HILARIOUS and surprisingly touching while still being horrifically violent. Interesting how they're able to combine the two.
Fourth: Started writing again.

Help Me Understand
Greetings!
Today has been a most productive day. I pounded out a good 1500 words!!! wahoo. Which was the most unenthusiastic wahoo of all time. And some, shall we say, interesting things happened completely unexpectedly between a certain couple of characters. Man alive I can't wait for everybody to read this, it's going to blow some minds. Well probably not but some of you might like it.
I also went for a bike ride today. Tried to make it up the canyon but stopped at the mouth of the canyon and turned around. I was just to tired. Been feeling a little strange today, not sure what that's about.
On the movie front, I recently saw a few new movies I would suggest. The two that stood out were Trollhunter, a foreign movie I randomly a trailer for on Youtube, and Alien, the classic Ridley Scott film. Both great stuff. Well I gotta go, dinner time.

Good Le News
I have a second job interview tomorrow! At a different company sure but it's an interview!!! Wahoo. Not exactly a job I'm excited for but it pays better than a lot of jobs around here so yay.
I have gotten back into writing AGAIN. I wrote 800 words last night which is 300 more than my typical goal. Sometimes the words just flow out. It works especially well when you have an idea where the scene is going and you just have to let your mind free and flow through your fingers onto the screen. And yes that would have been more poetic if I had said flow through my fingers onto the page, the ink like my blood, spilling me inner most thoughts and dreams onto paper. But... I write with a friggin computer.
Who writes on paper anymore?!! It's really slow, resource expensive, and it gives you cramps. I wrote about ten pages on paper for a story a few years ago thinking I was all cool and hip 'cause I was writing like people have for thousands of years! Well guess what hipster Mike. That's stupid.
(editors note: If you use paper and pen instead of a computer you're Awesome with a capitol A. These are just the rantings of a mad fool.)
So I finally got the job of editor of this blog. Also I developed a split personality.
I'm feeling very optimistic today which translates, as just about every mood of mine does, into wanting to see a movie today. Unfortunately that is at the mercy of me lovely wife. Hmm... We shall see.
Once more into the gap!!!
